One of my all time favorite Canadian DJ’s has to be Son of S.O.U.L. out of Toronto. He’s known to grace the decks on WCKUT’s WeFunk (check out his set here), and has a regular show on CKLN from 3 to 6pm fridays. S.O.U.L. just turned me on to his new series of smooth mixes called Cool Breezin’. Check out their facebook group description:

“A group dedicated to sweet soul and funk. DJ’s Son of S.O.U.L. and Petri G dig into their deep crates to provide members with exclusive mixes, pure old school way as vinyl is the source of our mixes. A devout following of music lovers made the ‘Cool Breezin’ Sunday patio parties the choice hang-out to chill out, socialize and listen to some sweet chooons.”
