In this classic jam, Peebles laments the sweet memories of lost love in the falling rain on her window. Despite the pain in her voice, the track is upbeat and full of hope–suggesting there is a double rainbow waiting for us after the rain.
The track was also the inspiration for Missy Elliot’s “The Rain”.
